Mass Update Field Values in CRM Modules

You can quickly update a specific field for multiple records at once using the Mass Update option. This is useful when you want to apply the same value across several records without editing each one manually.

In this example, we’ll update the Trade/Profession drop-down field for multiple leads.


Steps to Mass Update a Field

  1. Navigate to the required module

    • Go to Leads (or any other module such as Contacts, Accounts, Deals, etc.).

  2. Select the records you want to update

    • Tick the checkboxes to select one or more records from the list view.

    💡 Note: You can select up to 100 records at a time in a single action.

  3. Click on the 'More' option

    • In the action bar above the list view, click More.

  4. Choose 'Mass Update'

    • From the drop-down menu, select Mass Update.

  5. Select the field to update

    • In the pop-up, choose Trade/Profession (or any other editable field you want to update).

    Important Note: You can mass update most fields, except system fields such as Record ID, Created Time, Lead Owner, or Email.

  6. Enter or choose the new value

    • Pick the desired value from the field options (for example: Engineer, Doctor, Business Owner).

  7. Confirm the update

    • Click Update to apply changes.

    💡 Note: The update will apply instantly to all the selected records.

Things to Keep in Mind

  • Mass Update is applicable to all CRM modules (Leads, Contacts, Accounts, Deals, etc.), not just Leads.

  • The update cannot be undone, so double-check before applying.

  • Only editable (non-system) fields can be updated.

  • Availability depends on your CRM profile permissions.
